Day 20 Arlington, TX. (APS)

Got up first thing and began our trek to the Dallas area. Lots of time in the car today but got to Arlington about 4.  We made contact with Sam and Ann Bluntzer, old friends from Beaufort who now live in Ft. Worth. Since we are flying by the seat of our pants on this trip, we weren't able to give them much advanced notice. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see them, but it was great to catch up on the phone!  We headed right over to the fan shop at the Ranger's stadium to purchase tickets and shirts for the game, checked into the Marriott Courtyard just down the street, and got showered and ready. It has rained ALL day but the skies cleared just before 7 and the sun was even out!  The Rangers were playing the Detroit Tigers and put up a good fight, but fell to the Tigers 8-6. We had a great night nonetheless!
