Day 11 Sedona. (APS)

We hated to leave Phoenix this am, but needed to get on the road to Sedona, AZ!  I have never been to Sedona and quite frankly didn't know what to expect, but it was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined!  The red rock formations are breathtaking and difficult to describe!  We ate lunch at a wonderful Mexican restaurant right in the town center and then took some time to do a little exploring. We checked out the shops in town, hiked down to Oak Creek and then went back to the pool to cool off a bit. We'd made reservations for the Pink Jeep Tours through the Coconino National Park at 5:30 pm for a sunset adventure and it was definitely worth it!  The ride took us through Diamondback Gulch which was a bumpy ride but our guide Jessie was great and made sure that we got some spectacular pictures!  On our way back to town, he dropped us off at his favorite BBQ restaurant for dinner. Everyone was beyond exhausted so after dinner we walked back to the hotel and turned in early. Big day tomorrow- the Grand Canyon!
