Day 15-MC

Yesterday we woke up from our tents to the smell of eggs, hash browns, and fried bagels that dad made for breakfast!! They were delicious!! We packed up our tents and car, cleaned all around the campground and then started to make our way east!  We stopped in the Petrified Forest to check it out.  It was awesome!! The Petrified Forest is home to thousands of rock creations that were once trees millions of years ago. It was amazing. After the Petrified Forest we headed to Santa Fe.  We got into Santa Fe a little after 8 and had dinner at Alderitas, a Mexican restaurant!  It was delicious! We made a quick stop at Walgreens for Lillian and Jack since they haven't been feeling well!  From there we got to our hotel checked in and after two nights of sleeping on the ground we were finally able to sleep in a comfy bed!! Today we are going to be touring around Santa Fe and going to a Rodeo tonight! Then Sunday we travel a little more east!
