Day 1:MC

Today was a long, but fun day.  Ten hours in the car isn't as bad as you think if you have a million movies to keep you happy!!  We successfully made it to New Orleans and walked around downtown and Bourbon St. Bourbon St. was very interesting nonetheless! After walking around we ate at a wonderful Cajun restaurant, Gumbo Shop.  I had the jambalaya and it was very good!  I tried alligator tonight and it was okay!  After dinner we strolled down to Cafe du Monde and ate some beignets!  Highly recommend!! Today was a great day and tomorrow we are on the road for our next destination....SAN ANTONIO!
